Visit to the European Parliament in Brussels

An unforgettable day at the European Parliament!

Our advisory board from Gehr Interior visited the European Parliament in Brussels.

David McAllister, Member of the European Parliament since 2014 and Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs since 2017, invited us to a board meeting at his office.

We had the opportunity to attend the meeting with Reiner Gehr, Jens Uwe Otten, Sven Konrad and Antonia Gehr. A deep exchange of ideas on European issues and work of the Parliament.

Following the meeting, we were given an exclusive tour of the European Parliament.

As guests, we had the honor of attending a session of the Foreign Affairs Committee, led by David McAllister. An impressive insight into international politics. Later, we listened to the speech of Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi – a moment filled with diplomacy and fascinating perspectives.

We concluded the visit with a meeting at the Representation of Lower Saxony to the EU, where topics such as the Erasmus+ program, growing bureaucracy in Germany, and its impact on competitiveness were discussed. An all-around inspiring visit that broardened our perspectives on European cooperation and political work in the European Parliament!
